"News of a economic recovery seems to be greatly exaggerated"
Read the Reuters story by clicking on the title.
For the really "good" news you ought to pay a visit to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Just looking at the Denver Metro area from October, 2008 through February, 2009:
- Civilian labor force shrunk by 9.8%
- Unemployment up from 5.3% to 7.9%
- CPI up 4.9%
My unemployment rate 100%. Prices up, income down. Should we be worried yet?
